2025 Bookish Business Recommendations for Christmas

2025 Bookish Business Recommendations for Christmas

Hello Lovely Readers!

Happy November! I hope everyone is enjoying the last of the fall weather and the preparation for Thanksgiving (in the US). I am hosting my in-laws and cooking the Thanksgiving meal for the first time-I am both excited and absolutely terrified.

Fact about me: I am an early Christmas shopper. I start thinking about Christmas present ideas at the end of summer and try to have 90% of it done before December 1st. This year, I have purchased most of the ‘bought’ presents and now working on my homemade ones . Last year, I made a small  business guide to shopping for the bookworm in your life (check the archives if you want to see who I recommended last year). I have decided to make this an annual post because there are so many wonderful small businesses with fantastic products to offer! While a couple of the businesses are the same as last year, there are quite a few that are new to me that I am so excited to share with all of you! So here is Lady Bookish’s 2025 Christmas Guide.

NOTE: I am sorry that this post is a bit late. Major life changes and a cold has kept me away from writing lately.

1.Hello Milo

Website: www.shophellomilo.com.

I always like to start with the wonderful company Hello Milo! This was the first company I ever had the pleasure to work with and I truly do enjoy their apparel. As I mentioned last year, Hello Milo was started by Taylor and is a female owned brand. They specialize in bookish apparel, mugs, and pins.I love that their products are not only cute and long lasting, but that there is quite an array of designs. As a brand ambassador, I am happy to offer a discount code: use LADYBOOKISHBLOG for 15% off your order! Check them out!

2.Log Cabin Vintage

Product: Books (Children’s and Vintage)

Social: logcabinvintage on instagram, facebook, and youtube

Website:https://www.logcabinvintage.com

Vintage children’s books is one of (if not my favorite) category of books. I truly don’t think modern books compare; not to say I don’t like contemporary books but there is a charm that we just don’t replicate in today’s book world. If you are looking for some vintage books from your childhood (or even your grandmother’s childhood), you have to check out Log Cabin Vintage! The site is “Online vintage children’s bookshop helping reunite you with your favorite childhood books”, Their selection is excellent so go take a look.

3.Rare Biblio

Social: Rare Biblio on Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, and Youtube

Website: www.rarebiblio.com

Oh leather bound books, how I love thee! I find myself in awe of this company’s wonderful pictures that they post on instagram. I praised them in last year’s article and I am doing so once again. Rare Biblio is a premium leather binding organization that specializes in crafting customized leather bound editions. They can customize your request in so many different ways. The book itself doesn’t have to be a classic (though it certainly can be); it can be your favorite modern novel or nonfiction that you wish to own . I have wanted to purchase a book from this company for so long and I am hoping to work with them for a challenge I have in 2026. Please, treat yourself to a gift that will last the ages.

4.Carrot Top Paper Shop

If you love bookish art that lifts your spirits, you have to check out the Carrot Top Paper Shop etsy shop! Started by Jenny Williams, she creates “bookish products inspired by classic literary heroines for kindred spirits”; Doesn’t that sound dreamy?! From stickers to bookmarks to postcards, this enchanting site has it all! Grab some of her lovely art for stockingstuffers!

5.First Chapter Puzzles

Products: literary puzzles

Socials: firstchapterpuzzles on Instagram

Website: https://firstchapterpuzzles.com

First Chapter Puzzles was recently recommended to me on Instagram and now I am obsessed! These are double sided literary themed puzzles. On one side is a stunning illustration from a classic novel and the other side is the text of the first chapter- brilliant! I love the way founder Suzette Raber describes the inspiration for her company: “First Chapter Puzzles was born out of my lifelong love of reading and my heart’s desire to inspire a love of great literature by inviting people to interact with classic stories in a unique and tactile way. I envision my puzzles as a catalyst for slowing down — for connecting with one another through shared play, and reconnecting with beloved stories in a meaningful, hands-on way.” Currently they have Little Women and will be releasing Treasure Island and Pride & Prejudice in spring 2026.

Suzette has kindly offered my lovely readers a discount: 15% off AND free shipping through December 25th! Just use my code LADYBOOKISHBLOG15

I will definitely be putting this puzzle on my Christmas list and I hope you will too!
